Sleeping Barrels
An overnight stay in our sleeping barrels is considered to be a special experience by many of our guests. Pilgrims on the St James’s Way are particularly keen to stay in one of them. That is not surprising, as they provide the necessary comfort after a day of excursions or a long hike.
Not only do the barrels provide a unique overnight experience, they also support the connection to nature and self that people gain from a pilgrimage. You can start the day feeling fully refreshed – and ready for the next stage of your journey. Our sleeping barrels are not just for pilgrims of course, they are also an interesting and comfortable sleep experience for all other holidaymakers.
As well as our sleeping barrel with 1 to 4 beds, for which you can also hire any bedding as necessary, all the other facilities on our camping site, such as sanitary facilities, kitchen area, bathing pond, guest’s lounge etc. can also be used.
